Charlieai.uk does not intentionally set advertising, profiling or optional analytics cookies. When you dismiss the cookie notice, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage so the notice does not repeatedly appear. Local storage is similar browser technology, but it is not sent to our server with every page request.

The Charlie.ai application

When you create an account or sign in at app.charlieai.uk, Charlie.ai uses one essential session cookie named charlie_session. It keeps you securely signed in and is required for the service to work. In production it is Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, which limits access and cross-site transmission.

Your choices

Essential session cookies cannot be switched off inside Charlie because the signed-in product would not function without them. You can remove cookies and local storage using your browser settings, although doing so will sign you out and may make the notice appear again.

If this changes

Charlie.ai will update this notice and ask for a genuine choice before introducing any non-essential analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. Questions can be sent to charlie.ai@phantiqstudios.com.
